What a wonderful giveaway! The book looks so interesting and I would love to read it.
One memory I love: When my 1 yr old daughter sees her 4 yr old big brother upset, reaches out, give him a hug while resting her head on his, and says "awww".

My son saying his first word - a celebration for every child but even more due to the hundreds of hours of speech therapy and homework that went before it. His first word was "Go" and I thought how appropriate - "You go boy - well done!" What a wonderful memory!

A recent fond memory was when we made a birdfeeder out of snow together, only a few weeks ago. We talked about how it must be hard for birds in the winter, and maybe we should help them out. My boys (6 & 3) put it together that they had just received so many treats for Christmas, that giving this food to the birds was akin to a Christmas present. So while we built, they kept shouting at top volume, "MERRY CHRISTMAS, BIRDS!" and later on they added, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BIRDS!"
This book sounds great. If I don't win it I might have to buy it.

Teaching my daughter to blow bubbles. The expression on her face when they flew out of the wand the first time was priceless.

One of my fondest memories is when one of my daughters realized that the rules I gave her actually had purpose! "No candles in her room" was the rule and she hated that...until her friend burned her room up! She is a mom now, too, and says things like 'you're always right" and asks for advice. What a great feeling! I would LOVE to give her this book if I were to win it! I'm always telling her the value of a routine.

I find myself tossing around the simple, everyday memories (the jokes, making crafts, playing games, the I love yous) and the grander event and holiday memories (the zoo, Hanukkah, birthday scavenger hunts). The everyday ones are more difficult to recollect, but the sweetest.

My 11 month old recently learned to kiss and when I went into her room to pick her up from her nap, I found her in there kissing all her stuffed animals one by one!

I'm not sure I have a MOST fond moment. They are all awesome. I've not ranked one out there as my very favorite I don't think. One I hold onto dearly, which seems a little odd, is recently when our daughter was (very slightly) ill and she laid on my lap and let me cuddle her. Our daughter rarely sits still and rarely lets me cuddle her so this was a wonderful moment for me, even though I know she wasn't feeling well so I feel slighty guilty in having this be a favorite moment. :D

One of my fondest family memories is of ages ago, I was 4! We were on holiday at a campsite which to me seemed veeeeery far from home.
One morning my grandmother, who was one of my favorite 'playmates', appeared at the camp site. As I thought myself to be a long long long way from home, where it wouldn't be possible for my grandmother to visit, this was such a big surprise to me that this occurrence got stamped in my mind and until this day I can even remember the great warm FEELING that accompanied that moment.

PS: will the book be available for the Kindle as well?
