A ZFH Minute – Perfection.

Perfection

There is no such thing.

Be good enough.
Make progress.
Get better and do.

We tend to get so caught up in our own heads by planning the perfect weekend, outing, dinner, summer vacation or birthday party. We tend to over analyse and even talk ourselves out of a great idea just because it’s hard, or somehow doesn’t live up to the perfection in our mind.

We read, we plan and over think without doing a whole lot. So let’s start doing.

You say you want to have more fun. Do it.
You say you want to laugh more. Do it.
You say you want to have a picnic in the snow. Do it.

Whatever it is you’ve been talking about doing or thinking about doing … do it. You’ll be a lot closer to “the perfect [blank]” if you actually did it, than if you simply kept day dreaming about it.

What are you going to do this weekend or next week?

  1. We have had so much cold rain, but Sunday is supposed to be sunny and somewhat warm, so we plan to go hiking at a local *mountain* for some much needed nature therapy!
